Shop Nutrla Soya Chunk 220gm Online

A dry product made from soya flour that has been processed under heat and pressure until it sets into a firm, spongy structure. It is sold hard and dry, and it takes up water.

Size, and nothing else material. Chunks are bite-sized and stay as distinct pieces. Granules are small and loose and spread through whatever they are mixed into. Same material, same process, different cut -- so they are not interchangeable if the texture of the finished dish matters.

It is the maker's way of indicating the size of the cut, since a piece count across a fixed weight tells you how big each piece is. A lower count on the same weight means larger pieces.

Soy is the base, so it is a soy product and the allergen statement on the pack says so. Some makers add nothing else and some do. The ingredient list printed on the pack by the manufacturer is the authority, and it matters here because soy is a declared allergen.

No part of this page is a gluten-free statement about this product. Processing lines and added ingredients vary between makers. If you need certainty for medical reasons, the pack's own ingredient and allergen declaration is the only thing to rely on.

Dry, sealed and out of direct light. The bag it arrives in is built for a pallet and a courier rather than for months in a kitchen, so decanting into an airtight container is worth doing on a large pack. Use a dry scoop -- any moisture that gets in stays in.

There is a best-before date on the pack and it is worth going by. The dry product keeps a long time if it stays dry, and damp is the thing that ends it -- once moisture gets into a pack it does not come back out.

No. This page describes what the product is, what it is made from in general terms, and how it is packed and kept. It carries no statement about what the product does for you, and nothing on it should be read as dietary or nutritional advice. The ingredient statement and any nutrition information panel printed on the pack are the only descriptions of what is in it, and the manufacturer is the source for both.

Yes. Ingredients, allergen declarations, any nutrition information panel, the manufacturer's own storage instruction and the best-before date are all printed on the pack by the maker. Where this page and a pack differ, the pack is right.

Yes. Products in this range are imported, so pack design, size and label wording can change between shipments. What arrives is what the current pack says, which is another reason to read the label rather than rely on a description.
